Some bonds are so strong, that they stand the test of time, this is one of them.
Four years ago, after a devastating earthquake hit central Italy, over 4,000 people were left without homes.
One of those unfortunate people was Dora, an elderly woman who shared her home with her dear kitty.
Dora had to flee her home when the earthquake struck, which also frightened her cat who ran away before she could get him.
He had disappeared and Dora couldn’t find him even after the earthquake had settled down.
This left Dora completely heartbroken, she feared that her furbaby had gone forever, thankfully she never gave up hope.
Even though she had hoped she would see her sweet kitty again, it seemed less likely the more time that passed.
Four years later, something incredible happened.
Dora’s cat had returned home after four long years apart, and understandable Dora was over the moon! Her wish had come true.
It seems like the kitty was also overjoyed to be home as the pair lovingly touched foreheads in an incredibly heartfelt reunion.
Dora’s heart had finally been filled back up, as you can see from the video, there was so much love between the two.
Their deep bond had survived the test of time, and it was that which brought them together in the end.
