Sara is a member of staff at the Wilson Veterinary Hospital and part of her job is to take care of animals that are staying in their in-house rescue.
One day, a litter of three kittens were brought in and Sara fell in love with them as soon as she saw them.
This was one aspect of her job that she really enjoyed, looking after tiny kittens, but sadly, one of the kittens had an infected tail and it had to be amputated.
Sara helped with the procedure and also the after care of this tiny black kitten, whim she named Renly. The more time she spent with him the more she realized he was a very special kitty.
She loved him so much that she decided to adopt him, which of course he was very happy about.
She bought him his own blanket and a stuffed bunny to welcome him into her household.
Renly loved his gifts and 10 months down the line he is still totally obsessed with them. So much so, that he carries his blanket almost everywhere he goes.
If he’s not with his blanket, he’s cuddling his stuffed bunny. Sometime after adopting Renly, Sara decided to adopt more animals, two Corgis named Azula and Hotchner.
Renly took to the small dogs immediately and showered them with love.
In fact, he cared for them so much that he even allowed them to share his beloved blanket. Sara believes that these two things mean so much to him because they were at the start of his new happy life.
And now he’s paying it forward to his new siblings, what an amazing kitty.
