A kitten named Tulip was found as a stray cat on the streets of Ontario, Canada when she was about 2 weeks old.
No one knows if she lost her mother, a human threw her out or if she wandered off accidentally.
But luckily, the people that found her could tell she was vulnerable. Instead of leaving her to fend for herself, they took her to a shelter.
Fortunately, Tulip had survived the outdoors very well. Apart from an eye infection she was perfectly healthy.
Before long, Tulip actually started smiling. Everyone at the shelter could see that she was truly a happy kitty.
She even smiled for the camera when the shelter took her photo for their website.
The keenest people that wanted to adopt Tulip were Jenn and Chris and soon they were invited to meet Tulip in person.
Tiny Tulip looked up at them both, still smiling, she wasn’t the least bit shy and was happy to play with them.
She went home with them and was introduced to their other cat Pinecone and the two instantly connected.
Now that Tulip has found her forever home she has a non-stop smile on her face that lights up the room for everyone around her.
