Her facial deformities were deemed as ‘too ugly’ by passers by, that was until a kind-hearted 7-year-old girl showed up and changed this kitty’s life forever.
When a young girl found a kitty all alone by a dumpster on the streets of Istanbul, her heart melted when she saw the condition she was in.
This poor kitten was disfigured, dirty, terribly malnourished and in desperate need of love, this young girl knew she had to help and took her home.
She persuaded her father to pay for the vet bills and in time an amazing transformation took place.
This kitten had already won a place in the girl’s heart so there was only one thing left to – give her a name.
She decided on Gülümser, which means “she who smiles,” and the two of them now have an inseparable bond.
Although she doesn’t have an upper lip and left ear, this little kitten absolutely loves her new life.
This heart-warming story totally proves that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
